The HelloCash app needs to be coupled one time with your HelloCash account by dialling the HelloCash shortcode.

On the Test systems Axum, Lucy, Walya you can also verify over a shortcode emulator.

This is meant for testers and developers with no access to a Ethiopian mobile phone.

  • The From column may be left empty and may have phone numbers not registered with HelloCash.

  • By default an invoice will expire after 30 days. You may optionally add an Expires column. Several date types are supported, like only date '2017-06-03', or date and time '2017-06-01 08:03:20', or with timezone '2016-06-01 09:00:00+0300'.
  • Each invoice will expire on the date and time specified. The expiration date must be less than 30 days in the future. If no timezone is specified, the timezone of your browser will be used. This can be misleading when your PC is set to the wrong time or wrong timezone.
  • You may optionally add a Tracenumber column. Each tracenumber must be globally unique. You cannot use the same tracenumber twice.
